My platelets count is 1.78 lakhs /cu.m. is that normal??? And what is NS1 test?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Instead of posting like this. mention your symptoms here. Anyways, platelets of the mentioned value is low. NS1 stands for Non specific antigen-1. Used for dengue. I'm sure i have answered all your questions. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.

Hi, Platelet count of 1.78 lakhs is normal. Dengue NS1 antigen test is a specific test for dengue fever. It should be done within 5 days of fever.
