Hello Doctor, I am 21 years old. My last proper period was from 13th to 17th August 2026. Since then, I haven't had a proper menstrual period. My previous period dates were: - May 18–22 - June 8–12 - July 5–9 - August 13–17 I stopped taking emergency contraceptive pills in March 2026. In March only I had taken Divery when my periods were delayed I don't have noticeable symptoms like weight gain, acne, excessive facial hair or pelvic pain I would like to understand why my periods are delayed, whether this could be due to hormonal imbalance? And what should I do to get my periods naturally without any medications

Do pregnancy test first If negative then you can take medicines to induce your periods . Hormonal evaluation and ultrasound should be done. Connect for discussion

A gap like this after fairly regular cycles is usually not PCOS when there's no weight gain, acne or excess hair, as you've described. More likely causes at your age are stress, a change in weight or routine, thyroid levels, or your body taking a while to settle back into ovulation after the emergency contraception you took in March.
Next Steps
Take a home pregnancy test first to rule that out, and if it's negative, ask for a thyroid and prolactin blood test if your period hasn't returned in the next two to three weeks.
Health Tips
There's no reliable way to bring periods back naturally without knowing the cause first, so please see a gynaecologist for an in-person evaluation and a pelvic ultrasound if this continues.
