Delayed periods after follicle ruptured

I underwent follicle study and egg on 15th day which is 30th May egg was already ruptured. Today is 16th June and I m on my 32nd day, I haven't got my periods yet. Home pregnancy test is negative. Doctor advised to take meprate tablet from 31st May to 9th June. Why is my periods delayed? My cycle were always regular. I had a darkish spotting on 13th June.
