I am 50 years old female with irregular periods. 30th of month is my usual date. Next week I need to make sure I don't get period as I have a function. Is it safe to take meds to delay periods? What should be idea dosage that i should take ? And when should I start it?

At the age of 50 your periods will eventually stop afyer becoming irregular. I would not recommend any pills to unnecessarily tamper your menstrual cycle as all these pills are hormonal medications
