Dark pigmentation around mouth

I've been dealing with dark pigmentation like a moustache shadow above my upper lips. It's gotten worse over the last few years despite wearing sunscreen regularly. My vitamin D and B12 levels are also sufficient and normal. Can someone please suggest what topical creams/serums can be used for lightening please?
