Dark blue veins on thighs

Hi. My mother is having some dark blue blood veins patches visible on her both the thighs with little bit of pain in them. Please can u tell me what it can be. Thank you

Hello... Well if the veins are like swollen and you can feel them then it seems like it's is varicose veins...I would suggest you to meet a general surgeon and get yourself examined first so that we an assess it..we give sticking initially for the problem...then if required intervention like stripping can also be done... thank you
