D&C procedure done on Jan 8th

My wife got ger first d&c done on 8Jan. Got period on 17Feb. However, it is very light. Normal cramping but less discharge. Earlier, her cycle was always regular with normal flow lasting 5 days. Blood test reports show no new pregnancy or rpoc. Is this ashermans syndrome, does it mean damage? What should be her next step?
