Cyst in Penis foreskin

I have a painless growth in the foreskin of the penis from last 8years. I had last time visited a doctor who said no need to do anything as it is a cyst but also suggested circumcision as the solution. My question is whether it is possible to just remove the cyst without circumcising as i dont want.
