Cutfar in thumb finger

My both thumb fingers are facing an issue similar to cutfar. That portion my skin seems to be rough and oftenly blood is coming. I have consulted a Dr and he advised me to use gloves but no change has occured. After that i consulted ayurveda , they provided and ointment . But no one is telling me the cause of this. Can u please help me out.
