Ct scan report.
My CT scan report reveals appendix measuring 6mm in daimeter ,but i don't feel stomach pain or tenderness , my question is it mandatory to do surgery.
The first and important thing which is first to be asked is that why u had gone for CT abdomen? Because this is not a routine investigation just like a Ultrasound of Whole abdomen.
Secondly if there was initially a severe pain in rt lower side. To rule out suspicion if u had got it done ( ideal for appendix is USG w/a).
Next Steps
if there was severe rt lower abdomen pain initially nd now there is no pain then u have to go fo interval Lap Appendectomy.
if there was no pain initially and there is no pain now then NO NEED to worry.

You should understand one thing.
Usually appendix is not visualised.
If it is visualised in CT , when you take CT for some other reasons, you need not to concern.
If it is taken for suspected appendicitis, then better go for surgery
