Cryopexy procedure

2025-04-26 08:09:18
I have been highly myopic for many years and three years ago, I had been diagnosed with some retinal holes, for which I had laser barrage treatment done. It looks like the doctors were not able to do this for a few holes near the periphery of the eyes, so they have advised me to get cryopexy done now for fixing the remaining holes. I have this procedure scheduled for the next week. Can someone advise me if I need to take any precautions? Is there anything I should do or not do, before and after the treatment? And how much time will it take to recover fully from this treatment? I work in software, so I have to use laptop some days after the procedure.

It depends on person to person, but to get rest for your eyes atlest for 4-7 days with minimal activity will be good to recover.
