Cross tapering

I was having pexep cr 25mg sinxe 4 months. But due to low libido and weight gain, My dr. Prescribed rexipra 10mg. Dr. Adviced me to tale rexipra 10mg and have pexep 12.5mg for 1 week and then pexep 12.5mg alternate days and then stop and continue rexipra. Is it safe to take both ssri together?

Hello, Yes you can take both at the same time. As the dose is reduced gradually, it won't pose any problem. However, if you develop any of the symptoms like excessive sweating, loose stools, restlessness, then you will have to consult your psychiatrist and the cross tapering will be done accordingly.
