Covishield third booster dose

Hello, My father is 68 years, already taken two doses of  covishield vaccination. When should be give him booster dose. After 3 or 6 months. As with second wave and before second vaccine, he got COVID and was hospitalized was given oxygen. Please advise. Thanks

Booster doses ain't recommended yet by Government. We might be able to get a better picture in few months. Any other queries kindly consult.
