I recovered from covid like 1.5 months ago. ( Tested positive on April 9). Is it safe to take vaccine now? Govt advises to wait 3 months. But I may need to travel abroad in couple months. So pls suggest what's better

Kindly take the vaccination three months following recovery.  If vaccination is done prior to this period, the effectiveness of the vaccine will be reduced owing to the cross reaction of the vaccine components with existing antibodies. The vaccine does not fully prevent infection by the COVID-19 virus. However it drastically reduces the chances of severe life threatening consequences and death due to COVID-19.
