Dear sir Can dexamethasone 0.5mg tab works to stop and cure covid patiebt becoz some experts and news channels saying it will work for cure at I know for why uses dexamethasone tablet. And its cost also very less rs 40 for 30 tabs ..

1. Dexamethasone is used in covid 19 patients only in hospital when symptoms of breathing are severe. It has shown some response in subset of patients. It is one of the various treatments in severe patients. It does not cure covid. Survival is better according to some.

its a steroid tablet..not recommended to use it in mild or asymptomatic cases..it has several side effects also.. it has no Role in mild or asymptomatic covid case..
