Covid positive even after 25 days

Sir my grandmother was covid positive on 30 April 2021. Her ct value at that time was 20.80(RTPCR). after being hospitalised today on 26th day she is still covid positive with ct value 22. (RTPCR). If I bring her home will it be infectious to other family members? Also why it's taking so long for her to be negative?

Some pts continue to test positive. Itz actually viral proteins which are detected by test . Evn if dead viral proteins if presents tests positive. If pt is stable . Spo2 above 94 . No fever - u can bring home n follow SOP

In 2nd wave many patients are testing positive even after 1month, its due to the viral antigen, it could be infectious or couldn't be, its better to keep her in home isolation for few more days.
