Covid cough

2022-01-07 08:03:47
Hello, my mother (61 yo) tested positive for covid 7 days ago. She has a cough from the past 4 days (no fever, no breathing difficulty, no other symptom). She frequently coughs up sputum (yellowish). Her SpO2 levels are around 97-98%. Is there something to be worried about? How long should the cough last? Will the sputum change?

No need to worry now as her vitals are normal. Monitor spo2, bp, body temperature. If there is breathing difficulties better admit patient. Usually cough last for 7 to 10 days. Is she taking any medication for cough?
