I was diagnosed with erosive fundal gastritis accompanied by bleeding Its been a month now im on medication of antacids +sucralfate suspension solution My que is - How long do i need to take the medication ??? Doctor said u have to take it for 3-4 mnths .

Gastritis is is inflammation of stomach it causes a lot of complication including bleeding it takes few months time to heal completely because of acidic environment but after healing the recurrence is very common to avoid recurrence you have to take lifelong precautions because if you are once suffered from this problem then you are high risk for reappearance of the
