More details required.... is it associated with systematic symptoms like fever... time and duration of coughing... any audible added sound like wheeze or grunting, respiratory rate per minute etc.

Could you please elaborate more details on cough. If it's occasional cough there is no requirement for any medicine. Sometimes a blocked nose with noisy breathing can have occasional cough. If it's so please use nasal saline drops and clean the nose periodically.
Health Tips
watch for fast breathing, difficulty in breathing and chest indrwaing if any meet a nearby Pediatrician.
