For the last three days, I have a cough and when I have a cough, I have a mild chest pain, please advise me what to take.

the cough is not settled by then ... we can do complete blood count and chest X-ray just to rule out the lung infection

Is the cough associated with fever or breathing Difficulties? Cough with chest pain seems like Acidity Please make sure you are eating on time, less spicy food. Incorporate more curd into diet. Avoid Alcohol and smoking. Please take Gaviscon syrup 5 ml post meal thrice a day for 5 days and review.

keep an eye on fever, cough getting worse, increased chest pain, any breathing Difficulties. Please contact your doctor if you feel so.
