Have cough n congestion since last 5-7 days, Have consulted doctor n taken medicine but not effective, please suggest.

Most of the causes are of viral etiology only. So management is usually symptomatic. But the question is usually 7 days is longer period for viral causes to stay. Which antibiotics you have received and do you get regurgitation of stomach contents after meals or while lying down.
