Cough and cold
My daughter is 9 months old and is having cough and cold since yesterday. Doctor has prescribed Alex junior and augmentin duo. My husband spoke to the doctor on phone and she's now not reachable. We are not able to remember the dosage of Alex junior. Can you please help. My daughter's weight is 8 kgs
Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Was this medication prescribed without examining the baby in physical. That too antibiotics. I don't agree to start antibiotics just on phone call. The dose of Alex junior for your baby is 2.5ml 3 times. But I would not start on antibiotics without localising focus of infection.
