Avoid common irritants such as cigarette smoke and sudden temperature changes...Drink plenty of water...Use a humidifier...Try nasal saline sprays or rinses...If the runny nose is a persistent, watery discharge, particularly if accompanied by sneezing and itchy or watery eyes, your symptoms may be allergy-related and an over-the-counter antihistamine may help...Drink plenty of water,eat soft foods like cooked cereal, mashed potatoes, soft fruits, yogurt and soft-cooked eggs...give adequate rest to your body..Avoid spicy foods or acidic foods.
Gargle with warm salt water...if no improvements consult nearest physician they will do the needful.
