Correct treatment for Postcovid syndrome

2021-06-12 19:36:22
Hello Doctors, I am 27 yrs old and diagnosed covid positve two months back. I am still having long covid syndromes like chest pressure/pain, sometimes breathlessness (mostly at night),  high pulse rate ( avg resting 145 ) high bp ( 155/96) , borderline low tsh levels and high cholestrol. My Ecg report is normal but not sure why I am having persistenlty high pulse rate post covid. Currently I am taking beta blocker ciplar la 40. I am on this medicine since past 2 months now. With the medicine my pulse rate comes to normal. But if there is any gap, again the resting pulse rate spikes to around 170. Can you please suggest some tests which will help me to get the correct treatment for my symptoms and faster recovery.

Pulse rate of 170 is definitely an issue which requires detailed history and evaluation.

Pulse rate of 170 is too high. Kindly get an ECG done and consult again.
