Corpus Leuteum cyst
In my reports corpus's leutenum cyst of size 16 mm was showing at 7 weeks.
After miscarriage now on 8th day of a fresh cycle multiple follicles of size 4-5 mm were shown on both the ovaries along the surface.
Doctor said it might be PCOD and the follicles May not growing properly and are not big.
I wanted to know is 16mm corpus luetum was the dominant follicle that ruptured?
Is this size small ?
Does that mean my follicle that ruptured was 16mm or smaller instead of the ideal 18-22 mm follicle??

Dont confuse yourself.
That was during pregnancy.
Take folic acid before planning
Try weight loss
Keep relations 2-3 times a week and more in fertile period

Follicle size: Optimum follicle size is 20-22mm
Corpus leutum cyst: When above said size follicle ruptures and pregnancy happens then the remaining part of the ruptured follicle converts in to Corpus leutum.
Corpus albican: If pregnancy doesnt happn then above follicle only converts into Corpus albican.
In ur case Corpus leutum cyst was there due to pregnancy. And unfortunately u had missed carriage so that cyst is there, which will vanish gradually.
It has no role in next cycle. Next cycle new follicle will start forming and covers into Corpus leutum or Corpus albican as per pregnancy or no pregnancy.
