Generally a superficial scar can be treated with PTK / PRK surgery  but not with eyedrops ( unless it is an active corneal opacity due to some ongoing corneal pathology which might heal completely with proper ocular therapy the healing time of which varies from condition to condition ranging from a few days to a few years)
