Copd, Diabetes , Hypertension

Mother is diagnosed with copd flare up in March 2024 with FEV1 70%. She has hypertension as well with Diabetes. Now she is stable but very low appetite.Always depressed on everything. Bp is also stable and totally normal from the last 2 months. Please help me in keeping her warm and normal so that she can recover. Also would like to understand how soon she can get back to normal activities which she was previously doing. She was doing perfect before March 2024 . She is living alone most of the times and always tensed on everything. Can you suggest few medications also. Moreover she is supposed to have knee replacement surgery as well which is making her more anxious. She is not ready for the same. Always in pain. Please help me with the medications.

Depression is very common symptoms in COPD , u can consult a psychiatrist for further opinion. Whatever u explained COPD LOOKS UNDER control

Elderly patients with COPD commonly goes under depression as per studies. We should enroll her in rehabilitation exercises and possible few counselling sessions. When these people find out they have a new illness they tend to get depressed. Kindly continue her prescribed inhalers
