Thank you for your question.
Both pills are equally good at preventing pregnancy. They have the same advantages, disadvantages n side effects. You need to try any brand for three months to get an idea if it suits you. Pill brands vary in the type of progesterone they contain and different women respond differently to different pills at different times in their reproductive life. The key is to take the tablet as advised without missing any, preferably at the same time. If you start the pill within the first 5 days of your period you do not need extra precautions. If you start your packet after 5 days you will need to use condoms for the first seven days. If your pill is delayed by 24 hours you need to continue the packbut also use condoms for 7 days. The pill free break should only be seven days whether or not you have bled and whether or not the bleeding has stopped. If you delay starting the next packet you again need to use condoms for seven days. If you had unprotected sex in the pill free interval and did not start your new pack on time you should see your doctor for emergency contraception. Please read the leaflet that comes with the packet or go to WWW.FPA.co.uk for more information
