Continuous Cough and Mild Fever from last 7 days. Getting fever in the evening. Tested for Malaria and Swine but the result is negative. What could be the issue?

Cough Which type ? Frequently? Present in night as well ?? Dry or with expectorant?? If expectorant , then color and amount ?? Any blood, pus in cough?? Associated with chest pain, breathlessness  ?? Do u have hypertension or Diabetes ?? Smoking?? As there are lots of variation in Rx , it's better to go nearby Dr and consult with him/her ...:)
