I'm 19 , I am fed up of wearing eyeglasses so I want to wear contact lenses but unfortunately I didn't know that there are different powers for eyeglasses and contact lenses, and I have the new Power for eye glasses, should I go to check up to know the power for contact lenses  or else , is it possible to get the values of contact lens Power through that eye glas power ??

If your powefremains stationary for next one or two yrs then , i will suggest you to get the lasik done Till then Use glasses or contact lenses

Hello In myopia upto 4 DS, power of spectacles and contact lens is same. For high MYOPIA, power is different and yes..we can calculate power of contact lens from power of spectacles
