Hello Im female 35yo, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in May TSH .017 and in June TSH .009, FT3 5.84 and FT4 2.27.after 2 months (june+ july) on tapazole 15mg and another 2months(august+ september) on 10mg tapazole now my TSH is .011 and my ft3 3.39 and ft4 is 1.09. I have also gained 5 kilos during this period and ive never been this weight in all mylife even when i didnt have thyroid issues, except during pregnancy. Should my dosage be lowered? how long it'll take till its cured?

I suspect you have hyperthyroidism because of Graves’ disease. Your thyroid function has improved with tapazole and we usually reduce the dose further. The duration of treatment is usually 12 to 18 months but in a few thyroid problem may persist longer. With treatment it is possible to keep thyroid function in the normal range
Next Steps
Suggest meeting your endocrinologist before any dose alteration
