Hi Sir/Madam, My son who is 4months old is not passing stool past few days (6days). He poops after 1day when he was given lactulose USD syrup. This problem started when he was 3and half month old. As Pediatrician suggested I am giving him lactulose syrup every 3rd day (2.5ml twice a day) of constipation, then after a day he used to poop. But this time after 6doses(3days) he didn't poop. I'm very much worried. Please do let me know if any home remedies or need to do any physical exercise? And is this issue common in infants or need to worry?

If baby is feeding well active playful  and not having vomiting, distension of abdomen you need not worry. I advise you to do his thyroid test TSH.
