Hi my mother is suffering from chickngunya joint pain almost 6-7 months is being there but there is no relief.Mother weight is increasedand consult with various doctors but no relief. so is there any treatment for chickngunya arthritis pain and what is the consult fee .

The arthritis pain from viral infections takes a long time to settle down. It may take anything up to 18 months to get better. You need to make sure this is all coming from the viral infection and not due to any other problem. Consultation with an Orthopaedic Surgeon will help in knowing if there are any other issues.
