Constant muscle pain after chickengunya
Hi gd evng doctor, Few month back my mother is suffer from Chickngunya fvr . After that its been almost 6-7 months gone but till now my mother is not well. She is constantly feeling muscle pain and swelling is there and her weight is increased almost 7-8 kg . They have taken medicine and physiotherapy but there is no relief . So just need to know how this should get relief from this situation.

Plz Consult a sports physiotherapist who can work on your individual muscles involved ..do t waste ykur time in consult ing physiocian or ortho. ..bcz at any means med not gonna help u ..
Next Steps
chiknguniya virus hides mostly at musculotendinous junctions leads to multiple tendinitis post recovery ...and only physio can help u. .no one else.

Hi... I recommend you to meet a general medicine specialist to help your mother to recover.. However the pain due to the chikankunya will take time to recover..
