Constant fever for past 3 days
I have been having fever for the last 3 days. It is very strange that I don't have cold, cough, no joint pain nothing. Just fever. I have been using dolo 650 twice a day. But it works for 6-7 hours but after that fever returns. I don't know what am I affected with. Kindly help me.
Fever may be caused by wide variety of problems and may or may not be associated with other complaints which helps us in short listing the possible causes. Paracetamol or Acetomenophen containing tablets like Dolo give temporary symtomatic feeling but do not cure. Only some self limiting viral fevers may be relieved. Advised adequate bed rest, plenty of oral liquid . You must also a daily record of oral temperature for 4 times a day At 7 AM, 12 NOON . 6 PM AND 10 PM regularly . If fever or any other complaints persist for more than 5 days you should see a physician, proper clinical examination, related tests, diagnosis and furthe r management
