Concern over pre diabetes

I had 2-3 bajra-jaggery cutlets everyone should be familiar with if north Indian at ~4:30- 5:00 pm then at ~5:30 pm had banana milkshake with 1 teaspoon added sugar then had 2-3 spoon pastry at ~6:30 pm to 7:00 pm and check my blood sugar at around 7:00 -7:30 pm with three consecutive reading as 114, 100,101 , I'm 19 male , father with diabetes, I have bmi  of 20.1 and walk 10k+ steps daily , yesterday my fasting sugar was 91 something , I'm kinda overthinker and thinks about my health, what should I do ,am I at risk of pre diabetes, if so how do I prevent it do tell me some tips to prevent it ,and if I'm being honest I'm kinda scared of these results so please please tell me how do I prevent it , what to avoid &what to adapt , really need some guidance I can quit anything if needed so do answer  please

Hi, your values are not in the range of prediabetes. These are normal blood sugar values. So there is nothing for you to worry about now. However, since you are mentioning that there is a strong family history of diabetes, there are certain precautions you can take. Now, already you are exercising quite a bit, you are walking 10k plus steps a day. Another thing you can do apart from exercises, if there is any alcohol consumption or smoking, even smoking among family members, these are things which you can cut down and ask family members to cut down. Because passive smoke is also harmful. And your diet, you should consider reducing the amount of fried, oily, deep fried food. And you should try to eat more vegetables, good amount of protein. You can try and reduce your rice and roti consumption. That should do. Stay relaxed. Please don't keep checking your sugars regularly. They are in the normal range. You can probably check after a diet change, after 3 to 6 months. Thank you.
