Concern if rabies

Please help me regarding a rabies fear. I try my best but still some mice, shrews enter my house and many stray dogs, monkeys come and sit near my outer iron gates early morning or at night. I open those gates and close them at night. What are the risks of contracting rabies via surface exposure to their saliva if any present on the gates? Can one get rabies via surface like this if not directly bitten or licked? If one gets a cut after an hour of such exposure will he need ARV boosters? Also, if after taking full course of 5 ARVs, will taking one booster every year protect from such indirect exposures that may go unnoticed?

Rabies spread through infected saliva of rabid dog directly of indirectly. So there is risk of getting rabies even through indirect saliva contact.
Next Steps
person at high risk of exposure should get serum antibody level measured every 6 months and take a booster dose if level fall below 0.5IU/lit
Health Tips
INre-exposed case take dose on 0 and 3 .This will act as booster dose.
