Is it ok taking carvedilol 6.25mg and cilnidipine ip ( cinod) 20 mg tablets twice a day. Serum creatinine is 5.9 mg Bp 182/108 mmHg Bp 198/111 mmHg He is a diabetic patient using metformjn hydrochloride glimeprideand vogil 500 mg tablet daily once. Plz advice.. Thank you..

carvedilol and cinod is safe in chronic kidney disease, however you have mentioned taking metformin at creatinine 5.9mg/dl this can be problematic and needs to be altered
