Need a second opinion on whether to go for surgery or not. Few doctors recommend just basic fastener and othwr few reccomend surgery. Excruciating pain.

Hi... Surgery option depends on many factors... How good the fracture segments... How close they are.. What kind of fracture is it.. How far the fractured pieces of bones situated from each other... Are there any chances of malunion... Is there anything to worry about.. Proximity of fracture segments to the neural plexus etc... If the fracture segments are not in good position to heal then I would recommend surgical option... So share with us your x- ray and other investigation to guide you...
