Cold due to climate change

2021-05-14 05:37:13
Hi, In kerala it is raining and due to the climate change i am having symptoms of catching cold. Sometimes my throat senses like pain and feels like running nose. I try to take steam and it feels better. But this is happening daily. None from our house members are going out, so no covid fear. I am a breastfeeding mother for 3 month old baby. What precautions should I take from catching cold and how to secure my baby from it. Please suggest.

Hello dear *First of all I would recommend RT-PCR test done if you can as covid crisis is growing day by day and considering you are a breastfeeding mother, taking risk would not be a good option. *Apply N-95 mask whenever in vicinity of someone (Specially during feeding your baby) till RT-PCR report comes.
Next Steps
For cold and running nose, antiallergic and nasal drops can be taken.
