Hi
What you’re describing can happen when the mind gets mentally overloaded. Many people struggle to process two things together like reading while someone is speaking or listening to a video while trying to focus on something else. The brain kind of “freezes” one input and gives priority to the other, so it feels blank for a few seconds. This becomes even more common when there is stress, anxiety, overthinking, mental fatigue, poor sleep, or attention issues.
It doesn’t mean you are not intelligent or not trying hard enough. Sometimes the brain gets tired from constantly staying alert and handling too much input. Try not to force multitasking, give yourself slower and quieter spaces to focus, and notice if stress levels are high these days. If it’s affecting daily life regularly, it can be explored properly in therapy. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
