Clotting due to injection

Hello Doctors, 2 weeks back my mother was having leg pain for that she took an injection from general physician but after a week she is experiencing extreme pain in hip area and its swollen with clotting. We tried applying ice over that area but the pain relieves for sometime and again starts occuring more frequently. Kindly suggest any remedy. Thanks in advance. 😊
