Clogged Ear

I often experience an excess build-up of ear wax. Typically, I remove the excess wax using a bobby pin. Although I know that this practice is discouraged, it is usually effective. However, on this particular instance, I must have pushed the wax deeper into my ear. I sought out an ENT doctor who peered into my ear and said that it was clear. I am confident that my problems are caused by ear wax. Is it possible that he just overlooked it? if so, what should I do? I have already tried OTC remedies

Since qualified ENT has examined your ear there is unlikely to be wax pushed deep inside the ear canal. You may be having eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold. It usually resolves spontaneously after few days. You can use decongestant medicines for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
