They are safe to use, but follow the instructions given by the doctor regarding how to apply cream, when to apply during day/night, for how much duration few hours/overnight, for how many days- daily/ weekly etc., To prevent complications.
Retinoids(tretiva): SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN BY
PREGNANT WOMEN.
If you are married and taking the drug, you should not get pregnant as it is harmful to baby. You should stop the drug 1-2 months before planning pregnancy.

Acne, needs regular skin care routine along with proper antibiotics, exfoliants.
Use gentle cleanser for washing face 2-3 times daily(as harsh cleansing can damage skin and increase infection of acne)
Apply moisturizer immediately after washing face, to retain moisture in skin as healthy skin needs it. (Moisture and oily skin is different)
After moisturizer, apply sunscreen during day time.
Use only NON-COMEDOGENIC sunscreen( as other sunscreen will block follicles and increase acne)
Early treatment will always prevent PIGMENTATION and scars.
wash/change your towel every 2 days.
change your pillow cover every 5 days.
Do not frequently touch your face with hands.
DO NOT SQUEEZE the lesions, as it damages dermis of skin, causing DEEP SCARS AND PIGMENTATION, which is difficult to treat.
