A cervical polyp is not dangerous. It often causes concern because of bleeding on and off. Many doctors prefer to leave it because of the risk of bleeding if you attempt to remove it during pregnancy. Rarely if it is small it can be removed with a minor surgical procedure. If it is large it can cause problems at the time if delivery or after delivery because of bleeding.
Your gynaecologist is the best person to discuss options as they know your medical history and have seen the location and size of the polyp
