Hi, 19 year old Male. Had a chronic sinus infection since December after a upper respiratory infection. I have been dealing with some weird symptoms such as Derealization and the usual congestion. Was on amoxicillin last week and actually made my symptoms worse. Is it possible I have a fungal infection such as Candida that has migrated from my G.I Tract. showing many symptoms of a yeast overgrowth tiredness, anxiety, irritability, acid reflux and many more. How would I treat this?

You seem to be suffering from subacute rhinosinusitis which is the stage of sinusitis before it becomes chronic rhinosinusitis. You may need to take better antibiotic, decongestant tablets and nasal drops added by short course of steroids. CT scan of paranasal sinuses is necessary to confirm the diagnosis
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
