Chronic schizophrenia

My brother aged 46 years is suffering from chronic schizophrenia since childhood. He is taking daily anti psychotic medicines like levitiracetam, clozapine, amisulpride, pacitane and haloperidol. Recently he is complaining that in the evening he is started having anxiety and also sometimes he is facing problem in urinating. Pse advice.

Hello, levetiracetam is an antiepileptic and not antipsychotic. Why was he prescribed levetiracetam? Any history of seizure disorder in past? Regarding other medications, clozapine, amisulpiride and haloperidol are all antipsychotics but one thing is not clear as to why he was on 3 diff antipsychotics at the same time? The anxiety and difficulty in urination problem needs to be tackled carefully. I would personally suggest you to visit your psychiatrist again so as to get assessed and managed properly
