My father is diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stage 3-4. His creatinine level is 3.8, Are there medication that maintains the creatinine level and slows the progression of CKD as well as reduces the chance of dialysis.

As such there are no medicines to slow the progression, but it can be slow by controlling the underlying disease and its complications. Like diabetes, hypertension, recurrent urinary tract infections, kidney stones, h/o pain killer medication, Dyslipidemia, alternative form of medication intake, have to avoid this or control this to slow the profession.
