Chronic coughing for over 8 months
Chronic coughing with post nasal drip for over 8 months. X rays show bronchitis. Has been on foracort 400 much for a few months and gradually stopped it in 15 days. Coughing started again after that. Has been on multiple allergy related medicines. Patient stays at home most of the time and cause of allergy is unclear. Has consulted ENT specialist and Pulmonologist so far to no benefit. Coughing starts immediately on stopping the medicine. What to do?

We need to do skin prick test to find the specific allergy. And start on immunotherapy. Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is a needle-free allergy treatment where liquid drops containing tiny amounts of an allergen are placed under the tongue.
