Chocolate cyst treatment
My wife has two chocolate cysts in her right ovary. She was suggested two options by our gynaec - 1. Direct removal by surgery 2. Reduce size of cysts by taking injection (Lupride Depot 3.75) for three months and then remove by surgery. We have taken our first injection last week.
Now, the question is how many days after the third injection is taken can the surgery be done? We need to plan the dates properly due to family reasons. Also, is it necessary to take three injections or two injections will be alright?
I think you should directly go for surgery and after surgery you shd take injections... because injections l make your surgery more difficult... go for surgery and get your cysts removed... plus chances of u l b having pelvic endometriosis is more which should also b treated... so get surgerg done... size reduction l not b helpfull in surgery at all...

Hello.... Three injection two all depends on the size of cyst ...injections are given to reduce size.. So desirable size at which doctor can perform surgery will be decided by doctor only.... Decisions will be made by treating gynecologist since complete record is required to comment on this case.
